NY GUILFORD — Guilford board awarded fuel supply contracts and sought increased school district support. The Town Board unanimously awarded propane supply to BlueOx Energy at $1.549 per unit and kerosene to Buell Fuels LLC at $5.0962 per unit, both effective October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The board selected BlueOx for propane despite receiving a lower bid from Buell Fuels, noting concerns about that company's ability to fulfill the town's propane needs in the prior contract year.

The board unanimously voted to request Gilbertsville Mount Upton Central School District increase its annual contribution to the town's summer swimming program from $500 to $1,000, citing increased bus driver salary costs.
